Our Forest School is an inspirational experience that offers all learners regular opportunities to achieve and develop confidence and self-esteem through hands-on learning experiences in a woodland or outdoor environment.
Our Forest School Curriculum
Our Forest School curriculum is child-directed. Our pupils take responsibility for deciding which activities they do, and this means they are both motivated and highly engaged in their activities. Forest School allows learners the time and space to develop their interests and skills through hands-on experiences.

What research tells us
Recent research reports support what forest school practitioners have known all along; that children and young people are stimulated by the outdoors and typically experience, over time, an increase in their self-belief, confidence, learning capacity, enthusiasm, communication, problem-solving skills and emotional well-being. We believe that all our pupils should experience the joy of learning outdoors and to be able to work in different environments with different groups of pupils - we see the benefits of this curriculum and you only have to ask our pupils ho much they enjoy Forest School!
